A new take on the popular 'World Scratch Map'

What we did.

Go on. Do a google search of 'World Scratch Map'. There are literally hundreds of designs out there you can choose from. This isn't a new idea.

My customers kept asking 'When are you going to do a world map?' I kept replying 'There is already too many out there available to compete with.'

So I came up with a brand new design that shows each individual country in its relative size. ALL other world scratch maps use the 'Mercator' projection that warps and enlarges most if not all countries on the map giving the viewer a false view of country sizes. BECAUSE it's impossible to lay a globe on a flat piece of paper.

My map fixes that as I've taken EVERY country and organised them into land mass size order. I kept Antartica in the middle and I've started with Sealand at just 0.001 km/2 in size and I've spiralled all others countries in land mass order until I've reached the largest being mainland Russia at 16,440,626 km/2.

You'll also be able to keep better track of the countries you've visited as they are more easily seen, with name, flag and size.
